The mom walks by, sending her daughter air kisses before the pair later embrace after the flight attendant is done making her announcements over the intercom. A caption shared with the post says: “Thank you crew scheduling for this VERY unexpected blessing.”
The viral video comes as the flight attendant profession came 48th in the 2024 edition of the “100 Best Jobs” ranking by the U.S. News and World Report.

The profession came in at third place among the highest paying jobs without a degree and fifth among the best civil service jobs as well as the best jobs without a college degree.
Flight attendant employment is forecast to grow 10 percent from 2023 to 2033, which is “much faster than the average for all occupations,” the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) says.
“About 19,500 openings for flight attendants are projected each year, on average, over the decade,” the BLS said on its website, adding that “many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.”
